I’m a proud mom and lifelong dog lover who knows firsthand how much joy a puppy brings into a home. After years of leading teams in customer-focused industries, I joined Love at First Paw to help families experience that same happiness. Our mission is simple — to connect healthy, well-cared-for puppies with loving families who will cherish them for life.
Jeff Coughlin
I joined Love at First Paw in 2023 and became a full-time team member in 2025. Alongside our Finance team, I lead Data & Analytics — using insights to connect families with the puppies they’re searching for. Before joining Love at First Paw, I worked in analytics and leadership roles at several data-driven companies. I live in the Boston area with my wife, three kids, and our Australian Cobberdog, Bergy.
Theresa Millere
Hello from Palm Bay, Florida! As Director of Breeder Experience at Love at First Paw, I ensure our breeder partners feel supported and valued every step of the way. With years of experience working with animals — including time as a veterinary technician and running a Doberman rescue — animal care has always been my passion. At home, I’m surrounded by my beloved pets: three dogs, a cat, and two Cockatiels who keep life lively and full of love.
Ray Preston
Based in Austin, Texas, I live with my wife Kelly and our three pups — Lyla, Penny, and Tonks. I joined Love at First Paw because of my love for dogs and our mission to help families find their perfect puppy. I lead our Puppy Concierge team, guiding families through the process of bringing home their new companion. Previously, I served as VP of Sales & Advisory at Flippa.com, helping customers make life-affirming decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy basketball, hiking with Kelly and the pups, and discovering Austin’s best BBQ.
Jacob Alvarez
I love my job, my son, and my tiny Shih Tzu, Chase, who just turned 14! I’ve been with Love at First Paw for four years, ensuring every puppy placement is smooth, joyful, and stress-free. Prior to joining, I held various sales and management roles, learning the importance of motivation and inspiration in achieving success. Outside work, I spend as much time as possible with my son, who continues to inspire me every day.
Jonnath Nowell
I’m in the relationship development business — helping great families find their perfect puppies. Based in Canton, Connecticut, I joined Love at First Paw in early 2023, bringing a lifelong love of dogs, including Beemer, Rocky, Casey, Toby, and Bantam. Before this role, I worked at Angi/HomeAdvisor, and earlier, I was a professional baseball player, drafted by the Chicago White Sox as a pitcher. All were great experiences, but helping families find their furry companions is by far the most rewarding.
